Hello everyone~ Christmas is so close! Hope everyone is enjoying their winter break/week! Today I'll be doing a swatch post over the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette. I'm in looove with this palette, to be honest before I bought this palette I wasn't 100% sure I would like it or not since I didn't really like first chocolate palette from Too Faced but this palette exceeded my expectations and I've been using it pretty much everyday.

Too Faced packaging is always so cute, even their shipping box is cute.

The heart shaped eyeshadow pots(? is there even a name for the little container that stores the eyeshadow within the palette?) are soooo cute omg /ded

Swatched using my fingers.The eyeshadow colors are super pigmented, blendable and velvety soft!! They also smell like chocolate, which can be pretty strong upon first using.

My favorites from the palette: Molasses Chip, Cafe Au Lait, Malted and Dark Truffle (sucker for sparkly/shimmery eyeshadows)

After about 2 months of waiting, my Nude'Tude Eyeshadow Palette from The Balm is finally here! I also got a little travel face palette. I'm so excited I've had my eyes on this eyeshadow palette for the longest time and now it's finally in my possession ;u; I got both items during an event sale on HauteLook. The Balm is having a 50% off flash sale on their site on June 17 for only 2 hours, starts 10 AM Pacific Time I believe c; PS this post is not sponsored and is not a review~

The palette comes with a double end brush and the bristles are super soft!  I actually don't use the brush for the eyeshadows, I find both ends of the brush tricky to use on the lids, so I use the smaller angled side of the brush as a brush to line and fill my brows with haha.

Now onto the swatches:

Sassy is a white color (but according to my boyfriend it looks blue) haha. Sassy and Stand Off-ish are great for the inner corner of the eyes imo! I really like using Stand Off-ish for my inner corners.

Very pigmented colors and lasting! I'm so excited to use this palette more. This is probably the first palette I own that I see myself using all the colors

Today I am going to review this little face wash product! I got it from Sephora by using my Beauty Insider points. My BI points usually just sit there and collect so I decided to get something and I was in the mood to try something new! This product intrigued me because it claims to have Vitamin C and it's a face wash (which I prefer over face masks personally ^^). This was about 100 BI points, Sephora doesn't sell it anymore but you could always check Ebay, Amazon or any beauty retail store to see if they carry this brand and product. They have this product listed on their website too but I don't see any add to cart button available for any of their products? q-q

Claims & Description (from their web site):

Cleans and purifies skin, effortlessly removes make-up, and gently exfoliates.

• VITAMIN AND AMINO ACIDS - to help refresh improve radiance and appearance of blemishes
• GLYCERIN - to help skin feel soft and supple gentle polishing 
• MICROBEADS - to exfoliate and resurface the skin
• SUPERFRUIT™ YUZU - a skin energising, toning and brightening antioxidant complex pressed from natural Chinese citrus fruits  

It's so cute imo, I love the color and packaging hnng. 

 It is a light turquoise color with bits of pink beads for exfoliating. It's a runny liquid.

Really bubbly lather, it's nice and refreshing!

When using, my face felt tingly! Not the burning or uncomfortable tingly either, it was a really nice energized kind of tingly. You feel awake and refreshed! The little beads in this product are barely there in my opinion. Which is probably a good thing since having too much exfoliation on your face causes micro tears (which usually leads to more acne/pimples!).  It does make your face feel smooth, though.

I notice it leaves your skin looking subtly shiny, not an oil or sebum shiny just... shiny LOL. I don't know if it's because of the Vitamin C it claims to have, because vitamin C is supposed to help "brighten" your face / make it glow. I wouldn't necessarily say my skin glows though, it just looks kind of shiny.

I'll try to make before and after photos in future face wash review ^^

I also want to mention that it does take off makeup!

My take on this product?
It would make a really good morning face wash. It tingles in a way that it makes you feel refresh and awake -- it's such a nice, relaxing yet energetic kind of feeling. Your face will feel clean and energize after using and also, since it has vitamin C in it, it will also help "brighten" up your face. It has a very slight citrus scent to it and the overall product works as a gentle exfoliator. It lives up to it's smoothing claims.

I don't think I would purchase it though, honestly. I don't hate or dislike it -- it's just not really my type of face wash.

Today I'll be reviewing the Galaxy Chic Palette! I found out about the Galaxy Chic Palette on tumblr and I was so intrigued with this palette because of the Galaxy theme going on! I'm all for that haha. The price was to die for too -- it's such a steal. How could I say no!!

The palette comes with 18 Baked eyeshadows.
It has a mirror inside and the palette itself is about 8" x 4.5".

I'll start with the swatches, then my overall experience and thoughts on this product!

The top row consists of these colors. I actually had a hard time swatching these colors enough that they would show up on my arm LOL. They have more a pink-red hue/tone to them than the rest! Very rosy, light and sheer~ Cosmic and Milky Way are actually more purpley than the rest of the top rows, I have a better image later on in this post of the two close up!

Middle row, mostly your blues. They're all pretty distinctive of one another. I really love Saturn -- it's a gorgeous light gold color.

Most of your neutrals in this last row! These were easier to swatch than the first row, probably because these are more opaque in color. I think the colors in this row match so perfectly with one another ahh.

Electra and Meteor are incredibly alike but not 100%. Hopefully my camera captured it well enough but Electra has a little more blue to it than Meteor, Meteor has more white/is slightly lighter in color.

Cosmic and Milky way are both the lightest purple eyeshadows in this palette. Look at how pretty they are *o*

My favorites? I really like Saturn, Mars, Aphrodite, Mercury and Prometheus! 

The quality of the palette is really nice for the price. All of the colors in this palette are shimmery and so pretty. It does tend to fade though if you're not using primer and lots of fall outs/flakes when applying. I read some people claim it's not very blendable but I think it does a fine job blending. It's like a sort of loose powder when first applied. I think using a primer would be a good way to prep for this eyeshadow if you don't already use primer! It keeps the eyeshadow in place longer and would cause less fade.

• Cons: Flakey/Lots of fall out, lots of building up required if you're looking for a more opaque color, fades easily/wears off quickly without primer.
• Pros: Gorgeous palette, blendable, beautiful colors, amazing value

Overview:
It's a beautiful palette. The colors are really pretty and there's a nice variety to choose from in this palette. I also love the Galaxy theme! However, the product does tend to flake a lot, there's a lot of fall out and it's not very pigmented (at least, a majority aren't & not with one swatch/application). You would need to apply/build up quite a bit if you want a more opaque result. But as mentioned before, I think using a primer would be best suited for this palette as I don't think the product itself would last very long and would be more pigmented when using an eyeshadow primer! If you like a more semitransparent/semi-opaque color, this product would be really great for you~

Hello!! Today I am going to review 2 bottles of Milk Talk by Etude House. I purchased these along with 3 eye shadow singles a few weeks back! They were so cute I had to buy them and I thought I should review them for fun. I bought the Milk Talk Steam Milk and Milk Talk Strawberry Milk, you can purchase them on Ebay, Amazon or any Korean online store.

Product Description (from website): 
Formulated with milk protein extract 100ppm. Lathers away dirt, makeup and oil but doesn't leave body dry. Moisturize the skin, making it soft, smooth and elastic. It can be also used as bath preparation
200 ml of product. Storage life of 12 Months.

The dimensions: About 5 inches in length and about 2.5 inches in width. The following information and pictures apply to both body washes!

The bottle itself is actually very small or maybe I'm use to using much larger bottles of body wash for about $6 or cheaper as oppose to these being about $11 a piece (although I got mine for sale for about $9). The bottles are also waterproof and have a slight rubbery feel to them. Don't worry about the image wrapped around the bottles either -- they're also water proof (I was actually worried they would be damaged but so far they're gucci!!)

(Using Steam Milk as a demonstration) Whereas most body washes are Gel-like, or if you use Dove, fluffy sort of body wash (I don't know how to describe it LOL but for Dove users out there ykno wat I mean), this body wash is more on the runny side as pictured above. It's not very "sticky". I think this may be of the makeup removing formula it has, since my foaming makeup remover has a very similar consistency as this body wash before my makeup remover foams, although this one seems more watery.

The body wash lathers up pretty nicely though! I was quite impressed with this because from experience, most runny - watery liquids don't lather up very well. I noticed it also makes my skin feel incredibly soft and hydrated. This is a +++!! It definitely lives up to it's moisturizing description.

The scent clings and lingers on your body.

The smell of Steam Milk smells identical to baby powder and the smell of Strawberry smells like Strawberry Pocky. Surprisingly, I like the Steam Milk more LOL. I think it leaves a nice, dainty sort of feminine and clean scent after the shower.

Overall, would I repurchase?
If I had extra money to splurge on -- I would! However, I think these cuties are too pricey for their size. The bottles are cute though, I plan on using them for decoration when they're depleted! I do want to try the other "flavors" (I feel weird saying flavor, it's not like we're eating them LOL) from the Milk Talk series!

Hello! For this post I wanted to review this coffee scrub I purchased a few weeks ago! It's the Frank Body Original Coffee Scrub.

I'm a pretty big fan of bath stuff, although I don't talk about it a lot unlike I do with other beauty stuff! I've heard of coffee scrubs quite a bit, initially through instagram. I decided to buy one after much consideration and lemme tell you after the first scrub I fell in love.

(See where I got the title from? Ohohoho LOL)

To be honest I probably sound like a prude for saying this but I personally think the way they make "Frank" speak in first person is weird LOL like I just want a coffee scrub and I only see you as a coffee scrub. I notice a lot of coffee scrub companies tend to do this though. Are coffee scrubs supposed to be a sexual thing lmao probably marketing.

This is what it looks like in the bag, it's pretty clumpy but its easy to break apart. You get a pretty strong smell of coffee too upon opening the bag!

"The coffee scrubs target dry skin, stretch marks, cellulite, eczema, psoriasis, acne and scarring."

Actually the main reason why I purchased this was for the dry skin and stretch marks! Also, some people say it also corrects uneven skin/hyper pigmentation. 

Since I didn't take any "before" pictures, I'll write down some of the pros and cons / good and bad I've noticed when using this product.

• Gets rid of dry, flaky skin after one shower. 
• Makes skin almost instantly smooth after one shower. I especially love this!!
• A little goes a long way!
• Smells like coffee (which could be a con for people who don't like the smell of coffee)
• Water proof bag
• No chemicals, good exfoliator for the body. 

• Coffee Scrub can be harsh on the face. So far, using it on my body has been fine but using it on my face I have to be careful. There are certain areas on my face where I don't use it, I usually just use it on my nose or around the mouth area where it's dry and flaky. Don't get me wrong, it gets rid of the flakiness and dryness really well, but my second use of the scrub on the same area ( a week after, I only use the scrub once a week on my face!) it started to sting a little! Not my nose really. Nothing really happened to my skin after the shower but I thought this should be a noted. 
• Packaging. Personally I am not a big fan of the bag it is in because the coffee scrub would clump up at the zip line, and I feel like that might damage the freshness of the coffee scrub.
• Wait time. In order for the scrub to be at it's full potential, you have to use it then let it sit/dry on your skin for about 5-10 minutes. I'm a little impatient and I can't really go out and about around the house doing my own thing while in the middle of using the scrub. I like to multi task and be as productive as possible eheh so it's a little inconvenient for me having to wait for a while in the bathroom. But if you're okay with it more power to you c:
• Messy. The scrub is a mess when using and after using!! Looks like little ants in the shower lmao. It's an easy clean though, just rinse it down with water. You'll most likely get some stragglers here and there though.

I haven't used it long enough to really see any difference with my stretch marks or hyper pigmentation or discoloration. However they do have before and after photos from their customers on their instagram and blog.

I think it should last for about a month depending on how you use it. Personally, I'm quite generous when I use it haha, but so far there's still a lot left and it's around the 2nd and a half week since I used the scrub. 

So would I repurchase?

Probably! It's a very smoothing coffee scrub that makes you feel super soft and definitely does the job with removing dry skin. The coffee smell also lingers on you. After Frank, or whenever I have a chance to, I want to try the Coco-Berry Scrub from Mr. Bean (the first coffee scrub I heard of was Mr. Bean!).
